WEITE is equipped with an 110-meter-high elevator test tower. As a core dedicated facility for elevator R&D, testing, and certification, the elevator test tower primarily works by simulating real operating environments: it tests elevator performance indicators such as operating speed and load capacity, verifies safety and reliability in extreme scenarios like power-off braking and emergency rescue (in compliance with standards including GB 7588 and EN 81), tests and troubleshoots new technologies and components, inspects the durability of core parts such as guide rails and steel cables, and provides data support for elevator product certification and the formulation of industry standards—ensuring elevators are launched on the market only after meeting safety requirements.
